Porchlight is a private home for family memories, operated by Wave Agency. Using it means agreeing to these terms — kept short on purpose.
Your account
You join with your name and cell number, and prove the number with a texted code. Keep your sign-in address current: whoever holds it can get in. You are responsible for what happens under your seat.
Texts
Sign-in codes arrive by text when you ask for one; message and data rates may apply. Flash alert texts are optional and sent only if you opt in — a few a month at most. Reply STOP to stop them, HELP for help, or use the toggle in your profile. Details in the Privacy Policy.
Your family's content
Everything your family shares belongs to your family. You give Porchlight only the license needed to store it and show it to your own family — nothing more. Removing a member never deletes what they shared with the family; only their access ends.
Be good to each other
Porchlight is for families. Don't use it to harm, harass, impersonate, or break the law, don't upload content you have no right to share, and don't try to break into seats that are not yours. We may suspend access that abuses the service or the people in it.
The service
We work to keep Porchlight up and your memories safe, and we host with reputable providers — but the service is provided as-is, without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect damages. Keep copies of anything irreplaceable.
Changes and endings
We may update these terms; meaningful changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. You can leave at any time. If we ever had to wind the service down, we would say so with enough notice to take your memories with you.
